Assistant Professor in Mathematics (Probability and Stochastic Processes) at the University of Florida

    The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida seeks to fill one tenure-track position in the area of Probability and Stochastic Processes at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 16, 2027.

    Candidates should have an established research program, a compelling plan for future research, the ability to supervise both graduate and undergraduate research, and a record of excellence in teaching. A Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a closely related field is required. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package. Although applications will be accepted until the position is filled, only those received by November 15, 2026 will be assured full consideration.
