Come join the Mathematical Biology group at the University of St Andrews, where we are recruiting a new Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) in Mathematical Biology!
We welcome applications from candidates across Mathematical Biology who will extend and complement existing research within our School, which includes the areas of mathematical oncology, cell biology, developmental biology and gene regulatory networks. We are particularly keen to recruit at the intersection with Statistics, for example in Epidemiology, Ecology, Statistical Inference, and Uncertainty Quantification. We also welcome applications from candidates working in broader areas of Mathematical Biology, especially computational modelling or learning-based approaches.
We particularly encourage applications from women, Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, people from minority faiths or beliefs, LGBTQ+ people, and disabled people.
For informal inquiries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Dr Jochen Kursawe (jochen.kursawe@st-andrews.ac.uk) or any other member of the Mathematical Biology group.
