We invite applications for a fully funded 4-year PhD position in the group of Assistant Professor Lisandro Milocco at Stockholm University and SciLifeLab. The project focuses on the mathematical and computational modeling of development and evolution, with the goal of understanding and predicting how developmental processes shape evolutionary outcomes.

Possible research directions include quantitative genetics, evolutionary prediction, and dynamical systems approaches to modeling development and evolution.

Profile: Applicants should have a background in biology and an interest in quantitative approaches, or training in quantitative fields (e.g. mathematics, physics, computer science) with a strong interest in evolution.
