Posted on behalf of Lisandro Milocco, Stockholm University:

We are looking for up to 2 postdoctoral researchers for an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of systems biology, dynamical systems modeling, and machine learning.

The project aims to analyze time series of evolution and development with the goal of identifying generalizable patterns in how organisms generate differences in their traits.

We are seeking candidates with a background in biology, physics, mathematics, or related disciplines, with experience in modeling, time series analysis, or nonlinear dynamics, and a strong interest in addressing fundamental questions in biology. In addition to contributing to the core aims of the project, the role offers substantial freedom to develop independent research ideas that align with the group's overall vision.

The position will be associated with Assistant Professor Lisandro Milocco’s research group based at Stockholm University and SciLifeLab, Sweden. The positions are for 2 years, with the possibility of a 1-year extension, and fully funded through the national Data-Driven Life Science program: www.scilifelab.se/data-driven/

More information about the positions and how to apply can be found here: https://su.varbi.com/en/what:job/jobID:813144/

Informal inquiries are welcome and can be sent to:
