Funded PhD opportunity in Australia

    A fully-funded PhD scholarship is available to cover tuition fees and a tax-free living allowance for 3.5 years for a project, Multi-scale mathematical modelling tools for mechanobiology.  This opportunity is open to both domestic and international candidates.

    Supervised by Mat Simpson and Pascal Buenzli, you will study within the School of Mathematical Sciences at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia.

    The successful candidate will satisfy QUTs entry requirements, and hold a first class Honours degree (or equivalent, such as a Master's degree) in applied mathematics, physics, engineering or related discipline.  Strong academic performance, excellent written communication skills, and expertise in computational techniques (e.g. Julia, Python, C++) are essential.
