    Dear colleagues,

we would like to bring to your attention the symposium "The Physics of Collective Cell Dynamics and Morphogenesis" that will be held from 23-25 April 2025 at the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics in Oxford.

You are invited to submit an abstract for oral and poster contributions on https://iop.eventsair.com/cdm2025/ and the deadline for submissions is March 9th, 2025.

Confirmed speakers are Carles Blanch-Mercader (Institut Curie), Guillaume Charras (University College London), Natalie Dye (MBI-National University of Singapore & PoL Dresden), Anna Erzberger (EMBL Heidelberg) and Luca Giomi (Leiden University).

This event aims at bringing together theorists and experimentalists who are interested in the physical principles that underlie collective cell dynamics and morphogenesis, and to discuss the latest corresponding developments in the field of active matter physics. This includes - but is not limited to - topics such as the force-generation in cells and tissues, dynamics, self-organisation and mechano-chemical regulation in multicellular systems and how these processes organise and shape cells and tissues during motion and development.

Please visit https://iop.eventsair.com/cdm2025 for more information!

    Best regards,
    Alexander Mietke, Sumesh Thampi
