Call for minisymposia --- ASMB-JSMB 2025: International Conference on Mathematical Biology

    Here is a call for minisymposium proposals for the int'l mathbio conference in Kyoto, Japan (July, 2025) I announced recently on behalf of my friend.

    Dear All,

    We are pleased to announce that the international conference on mathematical biology, ACMB-JSMB2025, will be held in Kyoto from July 7th to 11th, 2025.

    The information on the Special Symposia, in addition to the Plenary Speakers, has been released on the website.

    There are currently 22 special symposia planned.
    In addition to these, we will also be accepting proposals for mini-symposia from participants.
    The deadline for mini-symposium proposals is January 19th next year.
    Please see the following information for details.

    In January next year, we plan to start accepting presentations and registrations.
    We look forward to your active participation.

    We would also be grateful if you could forward this information to anyone in your area who might be interested.

    What is "ACMB"?
    ACMB is the extended version of
    "China-India-Japan-Korean Conference for Mathematical Biology (CIJK)".

    Dates: July 7 (Monday) to 11 (Friday), 2025

    Call for Mini-Symposium Proposals:
    Anyone who will be attending the ACMB-JSMB 2025 can propose a mini-symposium.
    If you would like to propose a mini-symposium, please send the following information to:
    acmbjsmb2025[at]gmail.com.

    (1) Title of the symposium
    (2) Organizer(s) (name, affiliation, email address)
    (3) Symposium abstract (not to exceed 1500 characters including spaces)
    (4) List of speakers (name, affiliation, email address. Speakers must be confirmed)

    The deadline for applications is January 19th, 2025 (JST).

    Notes
    - Each session is 100 minutes long. There is no limit to the number of speakers per session, but 25 minutes x 4 speakers or 20 minutes x 5 speakers would be the standard.
    - Organizers may use multiple sessions to plan a mini-symposium with 8 or 10 speakers.
    - The acceptance or rejection of symposium proposals will be notified to the organizers by the committee after the application deadline.
    - Please note that requests for specific dates for symposia will not be accepted.

    We look forward to receiving your ambitious proposals.

    Schedule:
    Deadline of "Call for Mini-Symposium Proposal" is January 19, 2025.
    "Call for Presentation" will start in January, 2025.
    "Registration Site" will be open in January, 2025.
