The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida seeks to fill two Visiting Assistant Professor positions, beginning August 16, 2025, and renewable for up to three years. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants whose research interests align with those of current faculty (https://math.ufl.edu/).
The teaching assignment is 2-2 with the possibility of 2-1 subject to course demands and available resources. Active participation in the department’s research activities is expected. A Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences or a closely related field is required. Candidates with strong promise in research and teaching are encouraged to apply.
